San Juan County’s 28th Annual Home & Garden EXPO, brought to you by the San Juan County Home Builders Association, is this weekend, April 12th and 13th, at McGee Park Convention Center. The Farmington Jazz Festival is this Saturday, April 13th, with workshops, live music, and an after hours Jazz Jam. The Theater Ensemble Arts production of Almost Maine opens Friday, April 19th, and runs through Sunday, April 28th at the Totah Theater. San Juan County's 28th Annual Home and Garden Expo, brought to you by the San Juan County Home Builders Association, is this weekend April 12th and April 13th at McGee Park Convention Center. The event will feature everything home from decor, to garden, to new home innovations. Adult tickets are $2 in advance and $5 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Ticket proceeds benefit The Children's Hope Foundation. The Farmington Jazz Festival is this Saturday, April 13th. The festival starts with a jazz workshop from noon to two at Inspired Moments Events Center, followed by performances from three to 8:00 PM at Orchard Park Plaza. If you haven't had your fill of music yet, you can head to Clancy's Irish Cantina for an after hours Jazz Jam starting at nine. Opening weekend for Theater Ensemble Arts production of "Almost, Maine" is coming up next weekend. This romantic comedy shares nine vignettes about falling in and out of love in a small town in northern Maine. The show runs two weekends, April 19th through the 28th at the Tota Theater. Adult tickets are $14 with discounts available for students and seniors. New Beginnings is holding its Second Annual Poker Run on Saturday, April 20th for Sexual Assault Awareness month. The event is open to all vehicles with registration starting at 1:00 PM at the Wooden Nickel in Bloomfield. New Beginnings will be providing food, music, a raffle, and a silent auction for all riders. All proceeds will go to New Beginnings to provide transitional housing and support services for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking.
