River Glow lights up Berg Park for its 27th annual holiday celebration. San Juan Symphony invites you to support live music and music education at its Christmas themed fundraiser and the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce will host a Christmas parade and gift collection. You are watching the local news Roundup, brought to you by Boone's Family, Thai Barbecue, and the big idea makerspace. At San Juan College, I am Sadie Smith witnessed thousands of Lumin areas Light up Berg Park from six to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 5th at River Reach Foundation's annual River Glow Celebration. River Glow has been a River Reach Foundation tradition since 1998. This free family event includes live performances by local students, a live nativity scene, meet and greets with Santa and the Grinch and festive drinks available for purchase. The River Reach Foundation also seeks volunteers to set up the candles and bags for the event. Volunteers don't need to sign up. Just go to Berg Park at 9:00 AM on Friday, December 5th. For the full event schedule, visit the River Reach Foundation website. Join the San Juan Symphony at 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 7th for a holiday celebration and fundraiser. The Symphony's Annual Jingle Mingle features live music, drinks, appetizers, and an opportunity to support the Symphony's mission to unite people through the transformative power of music. The event will take place at Artifacts 3 0 2 on Main Street. Admission is free with donations, encouraged proceeds will benefit the Symphony's performances, youth education programs and scholarships. You can RSVP to the event on the San Juan Symphony website. Celebrate a Cowboy Christmas with the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce at the annual Christmas Parade. The parade will begin at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9th. Parade. Participants lineup at 5:30 PM in the Bloomfield Aquatics Center parking lot. The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce also seeks gift donations for the chamber carrying tree. Community members can choose a tag with a child's name from one of the trees at the Chamber of Commerce, the Farmer's Market or Citizens Bank. Then return a wrapped gift for the child to the chamber on or before Wednesday, December 10th. Donated gifts will go to children in the Bloomfield Blanco School District.
