Red Apple Transit added two new bus stops to serve the San Juan County government complex in Aztec. One stops at the county administration building and the other stops at the 11th Judicial Court building. The first bus of the day stops at the admin building at 6:47 AM and the last bus is at 5:52 PM Monday through Friday. Few transit routes and timetables@ftn.org. The Farmington Fire Marshal reminds the public that spring is a good time to take proactive fire safety measures. Homeowners should create at least 30 feet of defensible space by clearing brush flammable materials around their houses. Addresses should also be clearly displayed so firefighters can find it during emergencies. Few more safety tips at the fire department website. San Juan College partnered with Western Governor's University as an option for students who wish to pursue Bachelor's and master's degrees or other credentials. SJC graduates in employees can now transfer credits to WGU and can apply for the WGU Community College Partner Scholarship. The university will also waive application fees for SJC graduates and employees as a part of the relationship.
