The Farmington Museum invites you to celebrate Native American Heritage Month on Saturday, November 16th with the grand opening of the Dibé Bíghaa exhibit. Farmington Public Library is introducing a new program to educate children on financial literacy. November is Native American Heritage Month. See how you can participate at the Farmington Museum. Farmington Public Library is encouraging children to learn about finances and money management at its Smart Money Junior Market on Thursday, November 21st from 4:30 to 6:30. Children can participate as either shoppers or workers, learning basic budgeting and the value of earning and saving in a fun, interactive environment. Visit the Farmington Public Library website or in person at the front desk for more information. The Farmington Museum invites you to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. Visit the museum on Saturday, November 16th from noon to 3:00 PM for the grand opening of a new exhibit, featuring weavings, Native American flute music, and a presentation. Then on Saturday, November 23rd, the museum is hosting an arts and crafts fair. The city of Farmington is holding a cookie crawl on Saturday, November 30th for Small Business Saturday. The cookie crawl is scheduled from 11 to one to encourage shopping small and supporting local business this holiday season.
