I'm Sadie Smith Basin Good Neighbor Foundation presents Neighbor Fest 2025 from three to 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 18th at the Farmington Museum at Gateway Park. Proceed support accessible hospice care regardless of ability to pay. Hospice offers specialized end of life care and medical assistance with a focus on the patient's comfort and dignity rather than recovery. The event will include a silent auction, food, and drink, and music by Black velvet and Breen. Tickets are $20 and available online. For more information, visit the Basin Good Neighbor website. Applications for Acton Academy's Kids Business Fair are due Saturday, October 18th, supported by the Farmington Chamber of Commerce. The event encourages youth ages eight to 17 to consider different entrepreneurial sales and business skills like branding, marketing strategies, startup costs, and ways to measure success. Registration is $15 per business. The fair is open to 30 businesses with no more than three participants per business. The fair will be open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, November 8th at the Farmington Civic Center. Visit the Acton Children's Business Fair website for details. The New Mexico Hospital Association recognized San Juan Regional Medical Center as the Quest for Excellence Top Overall Hospital winner. For the second year in a row, the medical center received the Quest for Excellence Award for superior clinical quality and patient care, and also was recognized in the general acute care category at the NMHA Quality Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, October 1st in Albuquerque.
