The Connie Mack World Series Championship is back at Rickets Park for its 60th year. Support indigenous artists and shop handmade goods at an arts and crafts fair. I'm Zach Markwell. The Connie M World Series Championship game will be held at 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 2nd in Ricketts Park. This year marks the 60th anniversary of the tournament where amateur baseball players ages 16 to 18, compete in front of scouts, friends, family, and fans. General admission tickets are $6 for standard seating and $8 for reserved seating. Tickets will be available online the day before or in person the day of the game. Second annual native arts and crafts fair from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Saturday, August 2nd. Artists from across the Four Corners region will showcase and sell handmade items like jewelry, textiles, bead work, and pottery. Admission is free. Follow the Farmington Museum Facebook page for updates. The Jeff Soland Swinging Big Band returns to the Aztec Museum and Pioneer Village on Friday, August 8th for a free concert. Solan is a Durango based soloist composer, band leader and jazz studies teacher at Fort Lewis College. He has toured internationally and received several awards from the Colorado Council of the Arts.
